The Challenge

How might we bridge silos and accelerate culture change globally?

NewWork started as a collaboration across departments in the UN Office at Geneva and later expanded globally, as an agile, innovative mechanism for connecting people, projects and ideas across silos. It is an employee-led, global empowered network.

The Solution

NewWork NetworkThe Power of Networked Approaches

Today it is a global network of over 3,700 colleagues growing across the UN system in support of UN 2.0. NewWork amplifies transformative initiatives and bridges silos through dialogue and creativity. Global webinars offer opportunities to learn about new ways of working and connect with changemakers globally.

Impact & Results

NewWork members lead transformative projects and provide feedback to change initiatives including UN Reforms, Next Normal, hybrid workforce, Future of Work, and organizational culture. A pulse check launched in late 2024 will track behaviour over time.
